The Car
£600 of pure automotive excellence
What's the Plan?
Right, so here's the deal. The Rat Run rules say we can spend a maximum of £600 on our car. That's it. Six hundred quid to buy a machine that needs to survive over 1,400 miles across the UK, France and Spain.
We've got our eye on a Mini Cooper - the perfect little weapon for weaving through European streets. Small enough to park anywhere, gutsy enough to tackle the Pyrenees (we hope), and cheap enough to scrap in Benidorm if it all goes wrong!
Once we've got the car, the real fun begins - ratting it up! We're talking spray paint, stickers and furry dice. Lets not forget the fancy dress too!! This isn't about looking good - it's about looking memorably terrible.
The Build
We'll be documenting every step of the car transformation. From stock motor to rolling work of 'art'.
Rat It Up
The rattier the better! Expect spray paint, stickers, questionable modifications and zero taste.
The Journey
5 days across Europe in a car that cost less than a weekend in Blackpool. What could go wrong?
